I realize that a lot of folk's don't like to wait for large pages to
load up, please understand that this is a very special page,
it was very hard to not make it larger! No amount of web space can
amount to the love that my family, and I have for our Father.

Please don't write me telling me that I should shorten my page!
Not gonna happen, but thank you anyway!
I'm in no contest's here, although I've won many... <GRIN>
This page is for my family, myself, to go to when we want to feel close to my Dad!

I truly hope you enjoy your visit, as I enjoy speaking of my wonderful Father!

HE IS MISSED TREMENDOUSLY

Today is the day you went to heaven my father! It's been 10 years today Dad,
but yet not a day goes by that we don't talk about you, or bring you up in some way or another.

I miss you so much dad, things would be so different right now if you were still with us.
I know I feel you here at times, and I smell your cherry blend cigars.
I know it is you dad, without a doubt, I want to THANK you for visiting the way you do.
Please never stop giving me those signs!

If you were sitting right here right now,
and I could say one last thing to you, it would be:

That I love you very much dad, and I'm very proud that you were my father!
Thank you for your wisdom, for your love, your humor, your talent,
and most of all, thank you for teaching me respect, and honor!

I miss you very much dad and have a candle lit for you on this day-

You're in my thoughts today and always! Everyone loves and misses you,
more than ever imagined! Especially Mommy!

Love, your number one daughter - Tracy *March 23rd 2008

.The musical selection for this page is our father's favorite.

PHIL COLLINS ~* Title : "In The Air Tonight."

Dad used to often tell us when his time came, he wanted us to drink a
toast to him and play THIS SONG in his honor! WE DID JUST THAT.....
Dad was a very positive person, and swore you HAD to
keep a sense of humor! And, Dad had great taste in music!!

.Here is where my favorite art work hangs...My Father's paintings....
In my living room, dedicating one whole wall to my father & his artwork...

Here is:

I can remember when I was young, had to be the early 70's, my
father painted the whole living room like this abstract painting,
only it was just black and white... The bathroom was done the same
way, only red & white... Looked so, "COOL," for the times back then,
but now that I think about it,
it really would be cool to
have a kid's bedroom painted like this now, eh?
<smile>

.

I also have a bit of a story about "DAD'S WALL"......

.It was approximately. 6 months after my father went to Heaven,
no one in my family yet knew of, "Dad's Wall," as I live several
states away from my family... I fixed up the wall with some of
my dad's paintings and always have a candle lit for him.

My sister Marion called me being very upset that she'd had a dream about our father!
She said in her dream she was looking for our dad and a
loud voice kept telling her, "HE'S BY THE WALL!"...
She said she couldn't find him and kept asking,

"What wall? What do you mean he's by the wall?"

She said she looked and looked for a wall and woke up crying... ~
* I got goose bump's and told her that I made a wall in my
living-room with some of dad's painting's and a couple of his
photo's, it's called, "DAD'S WALL."... She really didn't
believe me I don't think, until I sent her a picture of it!! At times I
would see shadows by, "Dad's Wall," they're not seen directly,
but from the corner of my eye and when I go to look head
on, I don't see it anymore.... :)  I can TRULY feel when
my dad is here, may sound funny to some, but if you're open enough
to, "FEEL" it,  you'll know when your loved one's visit you!

Sometimes I even get a bit spooked, I'll say: "You're scaring
me dad," then I'll feel okay again, like he's heard me! :)

.

.

We lost our beloved father to a heart attack!

It was VERY sudden and a deep, deep shock to us all. Dad was only
56 years old, in my eyes had his whole life ahead of him.

I've always said to myself that I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost my Mom or Dad.

Well, I've lost Dad and personally you live in horrendous pain for awhile,
but when you put your faith in God, the pain does subside, but it never really goes
away, in the end you ultimately deal with it.

When I lost my father I lived several states away. I lived in Texas, Dad in Ohio.
I didn't get back home in time to tell my father good-bye!
No one expected this to happen, we were horrified and
had a really hard time dealing with his death.

I'm the eldest daughter out of the 7 of us. It was approx. 3
weeks after dad had passed. I was sitting in my backyard,
really missing him, the sky looked really peculiar.
Being a self proclaimed photographer, I grabbed my camera,
and camcord and started taking shots of the sky. I really took
some beautiful footage with the camcorder, but it was not
until I got the pictures on computer and put them into
still shots, that I saw what you're about to see....

She's my Angel image!
She is what comforted me and the great pain I felt over losing my father.

When I saw this, I got an overwhelming feeling that she
was somehow telling me that my father is really okay.
Several things have happened since then, that tell me even more that he's with me,
but sometimes I have a hard time believing what I'm actually experiencing.

.Here is the Angel Image ....

I do have several more Angel images, this is the one that gave me the, "Feeling of peace."
The other's were basically confirming that what I was seeing/filming, was real! I'll be starting a new page,
with just my Angel images real soon. I may also set up a page where you can send me your stories,
and I will post them to the Angel page.

So be sure and come back to see when that is posted.

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels,

intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind...

My Mother and Father were married for 37 year's, and had seven of us, "KIDS"~

THIS YEAR IN 2009~

*IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MY PARENTS 48TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!

We're all grown, but Dad called us, "Kid," and we are really going to miss that.
Our father was a very proud Irishman and I viewed Dad as being very strong willed and highly intelligent.
My Dad had many, many talent's and was a very talented artist and photographer.
Growing up we couldn't get away from that camera! In which I'm grateful for today.

My Dad was a wonderful Grandpa, and a very protective father.
I'll miss his wisdom, his sense of humor, his encouragement and willingness to help,
but also made us do it on our own so we'll learn!

BUT MOST OF ALL

I'll really miss being able to call and say, "Hi Dad, what cha doin?"

Dad would say, "HI YA KID, WHAT'S UP? "

If I could only hear my dad say, "Hi Ya Kid," one more time.....

For my Dad's 50th Birthday, I got him this leather coat.
1950's style, very heavy, with the buckle on the waist and all
just so my Dad could feel young again, like back in,
"His day!" He loved it, but asked me if I were crazy!

It was worth it just to see the look on his face, as he put on his new leather coat!
It was just one way of giving back something, for all he's given me!

Here are all seven of us "KIDS".....

Picture taken 2002

There are 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild!

I adore my brothers and sisters, and all my many nieces and nephews!

This is Dad in 1995 -

My Dad loved the great outdoors, and was outside as often as possible!
Dad's most favorite thing to do was to fish, and camp!
My Dad had a 19 ft Cabin Cruiser he named, "High Life!"

Because fishing to my Dad was the, "High Life!"

Dad's favorite fishing hole was the great Lake Erie,
where he'd often just about go all the way to Canada, to do some, "Good," fishing!
At one time, Dad held the record for the largest walleye, caught out of Lake Erie!

I have very fond memories of Dad and Mom packing
all us kid's in the car to go camping~ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND~*
Dad taught me to swim on one of those trip's...
I can remember it, like it was yesterday! :)

DAD ALSO WALKED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE GRAND CANYON IN 1980

SOMETHING THAT HAS ALWAYS IMPRESSED ME~

Professionally, Dad studied in Urban Technology at Tri-C Community Collage,
and served one year as instructor in the New Career's Program.

Dad then took on the position of Head of the Graphic Arts Dept.
Dad worked very hard and often did special projects, as you will see an example of one below.
Growing up, I remember dad always had his picture in the paper,
whether it be for a neighborhood fire he captured on film,
special projects as such, or for catching the largest walleye out of Lake Erie!

We are all VERY proud that we had such a talented father ...
Some of us even follow in his footsteps!  <wink>

The News Clipping Reads As Follows:

Dennis J. Carney, student activities graphics lab proved through
Operation Christmas Basket there is profit in zodiac signs.
Remember the zodiac photo concession at student program
council party?
Well, it was the idea of Dennis to sell photos with the persons zodiac sign
to raise money for needy families Christmas baskets, and it paid off!

Thanks to Dennis, the student program council Fred Perkins & staff, $956.00
was donated to the operation Christmas basket fund!
On behalf of the welfare information center & the African American Society,
many thanks Dennis for a wonderful idea!

With a growing family, Dad had to move on to a better paying job
with more benefits. Dad went on to work for the County, being a Job Liaison,
which meant he was in charge of the
"Youth Summer Job Program."
This job meant more money, better benefits but also more STRESS!~

Dad had his first heart attack in the early to mid 80's, making him in his 30's.
He then had a slight stroke and was unable to work from then on.
His Doctor repeatedly denied dad's work release, because dad couldn't pass his stress test's.

Being a proud Irishman, who's worked very hard all his life,
this frustrated my father to no end! Dad hated not being in charge of his own life -
Dad often did odd jobs here and there, but mostly poured his
soul into his art, creating his morphs, and web animation's.
My Dad has gotten many awards for his art
and web design.
He also spent a lot of quiet time on, "High Life," his boat.

.

Oil Painting, my father did with a pallet knife!

It's just another way to show the commitment, love, & honor we bestow upon our father!

HAVE YOU TOLD YOUR FATHER YOU LOVE HIM TODAY?

YOU MAY NEVER GET ANOTHER CHANCE!

.

This is one of the last picture's my father took of some of us together! In 1997~*

My Mom and Dad were so much in love, and like anyone else had their share of problems.
Even after 37 years of marriage, 7 children, 8 grandchildren, (at the time,) they still had that look across the room
or the, "Sneaky" pinch on the rear! We "Kid's," thought it was CUTE!

It made us sibling's all very close to each other.
We are by no mean's the Brady Bunch, or close to it!~LOL
But we know what is, and is not important~
FAMILY IS VERY IMPORTANT~

And I thank God everyday for mine!
